How ADHD affects teens' self-perception
Adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder feel less competent in academics and behavior than peers without the disorder, according to Canadian researchers who surveyed youth with the condition. Students with the condition and high academic achievement also told researchers they felt less capable than peers at school.
