Study: Students with disabilities more likely to be disciplined

Students with disabilities in K-12 schools are nearly twice as likely as their peers without disabilities to be disciplined, according to a report from UCLA's Civil Rights Project. The report, released about 25 years since the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act, found that about one-third of all K-12 students with emotional disabilities have been suspended at least once.
