Overlapping symptoms may make a common diagnostic tool for
attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder less accurate in children with autism
spectrum disorder, according to a study in the Journal of Autism and
Developmental Disorders. Researchers say refining the tool is important,
because some medications for ADHD are less effective in children with ASD. United Press International
