A study in the Journal of the American Academy of Child &
Adolescent Psychiatry showed that evaluating interpersonal psychotherapy
response and augmenting treatment for inadequate responders at week four of
treatment was better in curbing depression symptoms in adolescents compared
with assessments at week eight. The findings also showed that boosting
psychotherapy at four weeks through additional fluoxetine or session frequency
